Music Is My Art: I grew up in a small British town, with little access to electronic and live music, so I went out and found it, and ever since, audio culture has always inspired my world. I now DJ with friends, and make mainly dance music inspired by my UK club roots.

Sampling and recontexualizing sound is like curating a new chapter. At college I would support myself by DJing and promoting weekly club nights, where I curate parties for venues. This experience helped me become a better collaborator and learn the business of artist representation.

DJing is one of the most truthful experiments I know, in letting the audio medium evolve and become something new with the interaction of the environment and audience. In music I can explore new creative fields, play and learn. I still enjoy the randomness of crate digging and how it can inform new compilations.
